Astoria’s Slow Espresso experience lands at Slow Fish

On May 18 – 21, Astoria Espresso Machines will be for the first time the technical partner of Slow Fish, the event dedicated to fish and sea resources to be held in Genoa’s Old Port. From now on, Astoria will serve as a Slow Food reference with regard to the market of professional coffee machines.

In Genoa, Astoria will showcase a splendid silver Airstream trailer, transformed for the occasion into a real cafeteria that will serve espressos, cappuccinos and shaken coffees in the Slow Fish food truck area from 10 am to midnight, using the class “A” of Astoria coffee machines: Plus 4 You TS, with its top-notch performance with certified energy saving up to 47.6%, thanks to the use of separate boilers for each group, its innovative software that manages the standby automatic system during breaks, the night energy-saving function and intelligent temperature calibration, delivering power only where and when needed.

“The values and ideas that bind us to Slow Food are a daily commitment for us,” said Roberto Marchetto, Manager of relations with Slow Food. “Events like Slow Fish represent the perfect opportunity to propose the concept of the Slow Espresso Experience that is the basis of Astoria’s philosophy. It is a vision combining the sensory experience of tasting with sustainability, protection of biodiversity and utmost attention to water, an essential element of a great coffee”.
