INTERGASTRA 2010 to focus on hotels

At the international trade fair for hotels and restaurants in Stuttgart, one trade fair hall will be dedicated exclusively to hotels

Next year, the Stuttgart trade fair INTERGASTRA 2010 will focus even more on hotels. “Until now, no event covered in a concentrated and clear manner the great need for advice and information of hotel management as a target group”, says Stuttgart Messe Managing Director Ulrich Kromer. With the concept FOKUS HOTEL, INTERGASTRA will close this gap and offer the hotel sector a unique information and procurement platform. But FOCUS HOTEL is not about future visions, he continues, “the emphasis will be on practice-oriented solutions which will be up-to-date and economical next year and also in 2020”. For example, to reduce costs through environmental protection, to which the futurologist Rohit Talwar from London refers in the Süddeutsche Zeitung: “Hoteliers too must think in the longer term, rather than just about making sure the rooms are booked for the next season. Investments in solar energy systems, for example, may only bring a return in 15 years, but they are still worthwhile.”
